Mexican President Simpoom strongly condemned the violence of the US law enforcement that led to the deaths of migrants in the United States, saying Mexico has issued a diplomatic letter to the United States, asking for an investigation.

According to Mexican media reports, recently, at least one Mexican immigrant in the United States died during a raid and detention by the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement Bureau.

¡°It¡¯s unfair, we¡¯re saddened.¡± Simbaum stressed at the day¡¯s routine press conference that Mexico did not agree with the way it treated immigrants and did not agree with the assault and capture operations, which would bring fear and unrest to Mexicans in the US. Mexico has issued a diplomatic letter demanding a comprehensive investigation into the case and must be punished once human rights violations are found.

Shenbaum pointed out that several generations of Mexican immigrants have made "very important contributions" to the American economy through their work, and there is no reason for discrimination. She warned that what the US has done to immigrants will have an impact on the US economy. At present, it is difficult to recruit workers in the US agriculture and service industries.

Simbaum also said the Mexican government has taken a series of measures to help immigrants in the United States, such as opening hotlines, strengthening technical and legal advisory services.
