French President Macron said in New York that if U.S. President Trump genuinely wants to receive the Nobel Peace Prize, he should push to end the war in the Palestinian Gaza Strip.

In an interview with French television BFM on Monday, Macron said: "There is only one person who can do something for this, the President of the United States.Why can he do more than we do?Because we don't provide weapons that can start a war in Gaza, we don't provide equipment that can fight this war, it's the United States."

On the same day, Trump delivered a harsh speech at the United Nations General Assembly, opposing the recent successive announcement by Western allies of the decision to recognize the Palestinian State. Trump said the move was a ¡°reward¡± for the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Organization (Hamas).

Speaking of Trump¡¯s speech, Macron said: ¡°What I saw was an active U.S. president who reiterated on the table this morning: ¡®I want peace. I have solved seven conflicts.¡¯¡± he longed for the Nobel Peace Prize, and only you can stop the conflict and get the Nobel Peace Prize.
