Israel's Eilat was attacked

According to reports released by the Israeli military and emergency relief organizations, Yemen's Houthi armed forces launched a drone attack on the southern Israeli Red Sea coastal city of Erat that evening, injuring at least 20 people.

The early warning system installed by Xinhua News Agency reporters' mobile phones showed that air defense alarms sounded around Eilat when the attack occurred. Social media videos showed a drone flying from the Red Sea to the seashore of Eilat, and smoke billowed from the scene and caused a fire.

The Israeli military issued a statement saying that after receiving the report of the drone attack, the Israeli army sent a helicopter to assist in evacuating the injured at the scene.

The fire rescue department said the explosives remained on the scene after the drone crash, and firefighters were working hard to search for and remove the explosives.

According to Israeli media statistics, since Israel resumed its military operations on the Gaza Strip on March 18, Yemen’s Houthi armed forces have fired 90 ballistic missiles and more than 40 drones at Israel. The Houthi armed forces recently reiterated that only Israel can stop its aggression and blockade of the Gaza Strip will they stop their attacks on Israel.
