On September 23, the Ministry of Commerce Wang Ventao held a roundtable in the United States in New York City. financial, logistics, cross-border e-commerce, petrochemical, telecommunications, rail transport, automotive parts, new energy, medicine and other fields more than a dozen Chinese-owned enterprises in the United States and the head of the United States China General Chamber of Commerce attended the meeting, introduced the situation in the United States, and put forward specific requests and suggestions onining enterprise interests, expanding pragmatic cooperation.

Wang Wentao said that the strategic guidance of the two heads of state has pointed out principles and directions for the development of Sino-US economic and trade relations. In the early stage, the two sides reached a series of important consensus results through several rounds of economic and trade consultations, which effectively promoted the stabilization of bilateral economic and trade relations. It is not easy for Chinese-funded enterprises in the United States to overcome difficulties and achieve development achievements. The current global trade pattern and rules are being severely impacted by unilateralism and protectionism. It is hoped that enterprises will grasp the situation, respond actively, attach importance to diversified layout and compliance operations, and seek certainty in uncertainty. They must not only go overseas as a group, but also keep warm as a group, work together, and oppose involution and externalization.

Wang Wang Tao pointed out that the Ministry of Commerce attaches great importance to the development of Chinese-owned enterprises in the United States, and will strive to stabilize China-US economic and trade cooperation in accordance with the central decision-making, firmly safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese enterprises, and create a good environment for mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.
