Two people were killed in a shooting at an immigration office in the U.S. State of Texas, the FBI has responded, Wans said.

According to the National Broadcasting Corporation (NBC), a shooting occurred at the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency (ICE) office in Dallas, Texas, local time on the 24th.Ice spokesman recently said that the shooting killed two people and another is being rescued from the hospital.

The three persons mentioned above do not include the gunman himself, who has been killed by a suicide gun.Three of the victims are detainees at the detention center, and none of the ICE agents have been injured.

NBC said that US Vice President Vance had spoken out on the above shooting incident. Vance posted on social platform X that the shooting was an attack on law enforcement agencies and "must stop".

NBC also mentioned that the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Dallas office said it had responded to the incident.

Secretary of Homeland Security Noam said the shooter’s motive is unclear, but there has been an increase in recent attacks on immigration and customs law enforcement officers.
