On September 23, local time, the first day of the general debate of the 80th United Nations General Assembly, Qatar Emir (Head of State) Tamim once again condemned Israel's previous air strikes against Doha, the capital of Qatar, in his speech.

He said that Israel had been ill-intentionally negotiating with Hamas while planning to assassinate the negotiators, "not even the most basic bottom line of cooperation" and denounced Israel as a "criminal government."

Tamim also said that the Israeli ambition to continue the war is to destroy Gaza, expel Palestinians, and expand settlements.
