The National Tourism Bureau of Thailand launched the "Chinese-Thailand Friendship Month" event in the capital Bangkok on the same day, and Tapani and Yang Xiao Long of the Chinese Embassy in Thailand attended the opening ceremony.

Tapani said at the launching ceremony that this activity aims to show the image of Thailand as a high-quality tourist destination and stimulate the enthusiasm of Chinese tourists to travel to Thailand. The Thai Tourism Bureau also launched the "Thailand Peace of Mind Tour" project to enhance the tourism image and enhance the confidence of tourists.

It is reported that during the event, the Thai Tourism Bureau will launch preferential activities in conjunction with China's major online travel and life service platforms to attract Chinese tourists to travel to Thailand during the upcoming National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holidays, and further strengthen cultural tourism cooperation between the two countries.

According to the latest data from the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of Thailand, in the first eight months of this year, more than 3 million Chinese tourists have visited Thailand, ranking first as the source of inbound tourists in Thailand.
