It is that the Confucius Institute was jointly established by the Northwest China Model University in cooperation with the Second University of Algeria, and is committed to promoting Chinese-Arab cultural exchange and friendly cooperation by providing high-quality Chinese teaching, organizing Chinese-level exams, carrying out cultural exchange activities, and assisting students in applying for study in China.

At the ceremony, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Al-Qaeda, Camille Badarí, said that the Confucian Institute in Al-Qaeda will further promote practical cooperation between the two countries in the fields of education, research and technology, and promote bilateral friendship.

China's ambassador to Algeria, Deng Guongli, said that the official establishment of the Confucian Academy in Algeria is an important milestone in China's history of educational cooperation and humanitarian exchanges, and hopes that the Confucian Academy will fully play the role of language and cultural platforms, allowing the traditional friendship of the two countries to revive new vitality in the younger generation, and inject wisdom and momentum for the development of bilateral relations.

On the same day, the Chinese Department of the Second University of Algeria and the Northwestern Master's College of Art also performed poetry lectures, national dances and book art exhibitions.
