“Your country is heading to hell,” Trump spoke at the United Nations General Assembly against European nations.

According to the U.S. New York Times and Reuters, U.S. President Trump delivered a controversial speech at the United Nations General Assembly on September 23 local time, he will head to Europe, saying "your country is heading to hell."

According to reports, Trump’s entire speech focused mainly on two of his most concerned topics, immigration and climate change. Trump used his immigration control policy as an example, urging leaders to refer to U.S. practices to curb mass immigration. He said, “I’m doing well in this, and your country is heading to hell.”

Trump says climate change is a “fraud” and immigration and green energy policies are “destroying” Europe and if you want to be great again, you need strong borders and traditional energy. I worry about Europe, I love the people of Europe. I don’t want to see it destroyed by energy and immigration.”

Trump also severely criticized the United Nations in his speech. Trump claimed it was he himself who solved disputes around the world, not the United Nations. The US “political” news network said Trump described the United Nations as an outdated and ineffective organization, saying the United Nations “has not fully realised its potential.”

French President Macron's later speech was tit-for-tat with Trump. According to reports, Macron praised the purpose and history of the United Nations in his speech and emphasized the importance of the United Nations. He said, "The harshest critics (of the United Nations) are those who want to change the rules of the game, and they try to become dominants." Macron also said that the international community must deal with climate change because "(climate) is out of control and biodiversity is collapsing".

The New York Times, Reuters and other media said that Trump's speech was full of false and misleading remarks. The US media said that the issue of immigration and climate change was welcomed by Republican voters, and Trump's speech was aimed at both domestic voters and other countries present.

“Politics” news network said Trump’s speech after meeting with UN Secretary-General Guterres clearly converged, saying “I may sometimes disagree with it (the United Nations), but I absolutely support it.”
