The British Maritime Trade Operations Office issued a notice on September 23 that a merchant ship sailing in the waters of Yemen's Aden Bay was attacked the same day, but did not cause damage to the ship or casualties.

According to the announcement, the attack took place about 120 nautical miles east of Aden, Yemen, and the captain hearing "falling water and explosions."At present, the merchant ship is headed to the next destination port.

So far, no organization has claimed responsibility for the attack.
