Schalke officially confirmed the end of cooperation with Ben Manga, director of lineup planning. The board of directors of the club decided to make structural adjustments in the fields of scouting, transfer affairs and youth training camp. Ben Manga's responsibilities will be temporarily taken over by sports director Bowman.
Schalke hired Ben Manga last year to be responsible for rebuilding the team's lineup, but the large-scale lineup reform ended in failure, and the performance of many new signings was disappointing.
