Gary-Neville thinks Liverpool is the big hit of the Premier League championship, which they won in the first five games.
Slott's team performed well in the beginning of the season, especially in the final phase of the game with frequent goals. Neville said Liverpool could still win the game even in the case of poor performance, which shows a sign.
"Sometimes they just barely get through," he said on the Gary Neville Podcast. "They scored at the last minute of the game, and I don't think they have reached their best state yet. What's more worrying is that I don't think they have even determined the best lineup and sent the strongest team on the field."
"The new players Waltz and Isaac, you know, who have spent £25 million introducing, have not yet reached their best and have not even played together."
“They are full of confidence and have a coach who can adjust the strategy in time, lead the team to score and win. They dare to take risks, take a proactive challenge to the opponent, draw the opponent deeper and then reboot the score.”
“Liverpool currently leads five points and while it’s too early to say they’re champions now, they’re really very popular with winning the championship. That’s not just because they’re experienced, but because they have strong offensive abilities and a firm belief that they’re eager to win every game.”
