The Central European Railway was broken and the sky collapsed.

A lot of people see 300 trains blocked, they make a sweat for China.

The truth is, this trouble in Poland just gives us a "justified" reason to fully start the "Arctic waterway" that is better than the railway!

We had already prepared the way back...

First of all, why does Poland do this, it appears to be concerned about national security, in fact, the head turns around a lot.

On the one hand, Poland wants to show up in front of the U.S. and NATO, and it shows itself to be especially alert to Russia; on the other hand, in their home country there are elections, and the government needs to take some tough action to raise votes.

Without a doubt, it is to take international trade as a gunman, play a political game. but this practice hurt the enemy eight hundred and one thousand, Poland itself can earn a lot of transit costs each year on the Chinese-European railway, now such a mess, its own logistics company first called hard, Europe's customers also complained.

But then again, the China-Europe railway is really important. This route is not only the goods, but also the economic link between China and Europe. Many German auto parts and French supermarket goods are transported by this railway.

But here comes the problem. Relying solely on one line is always risky. This noise in Poland just reminds us that we can't rely too much on a certain route. Fortunately, our country has long thought of this and began to lay out backup plans ten years ago.

The most striking is the Arctic Shipyard, which is much more powerful than we thought.

In the past, our freight ships were to go to Europe, to circumnavigate the Strait of Malacca, through the Indian Ocean, through the Suez Canal, to run a little twenty thousand kilometers, time and oil.

And now through the Arctic route, directly from the East Sea to the north, through the Baring Strait, along the northern coastline of Russia, you can reach Europe, saving three or four thousand kilometers. time can also shorten ten days, this is a real increase in efficiency.

In 2013, China’s “perpetual” wheel successfully tested the route.

Ten years later, this route has grown more and more mature.

Someone might ask: Is the Arctic so cold, and the ice and snow can travel ships? 10 years ago it was difficult to do, but now it is different.

Global climate warming has melted the Arctic ice sheet, travel time is getting longer, and after the development of ice breaker, the route has become more and more popular. this year there are many Chinese freight ships that have successfully completed the Arctic navigation, transporting real goods, not the appearance.

The advantages of this Arctic waterway are not just fast and cheap. From the perspective of strategic security, it avoids sensitive areas on traditional routes. Places like the Strait of Malacca often have various geopolitical frictions, so going to the Arctic is much more worry-free.

And the development of this route will also drive the development of Chinese northern ports, such as Tianjin Port and Dalian Port places will be increasingly important.

Poland has made us trouble on the surface, but in fact it has pushed us.

Just like sometimes you are used to taking the old road, although familiar, it may not be the best choice. Suddenly one day the old road is blocked and you have to try a new route, only to find that the new road is not only closer, but the scenery is also better. The Arctic Seaway is such a new route for us.

Now think that it is wise to insist on “many legs walking” when developing major projects. Whether it’s the Central European railway or the Arctic navigation route, or the developing Zhejiang railway, the trans-Caspian sea transportation channel, it’s all this idea.

Looking at it now, Poland's blockade of railways will definitely bring some troubles in the short term, logistics costs may rise, and some goods may be delayed in delivery.

But in the long run, this has accelerated the development and utilization of the Arctic navigation route, diversified the trade channels between China and Europe, and instead strengthened the resilience of China-Europe trade.

Looking at the map of the world now, it feels really different. It seemed that the far Arctic was now an important trade channel; the land railway, which was dependent on, now has more alternatives. This change not only reflects China's vision, but also shows our ability to cope with emergencies.

Poland appears to be a smart country with a short-sighted perspective, and our country has begun to create a diversified trade channel more than a decade ago, and this long-term vision is truly worthy of praise.

Today, the Arctic Navigation Route has turned from idea to reality and is becoming a new bridge that connects Asia to Europe.

The world is changing, and our ideas and routes are constantly renewed, which is the true foundation of development.
