On the 18th of September, the anniversary of the events, the film Nanjing Photography Hall was held in the Serbian capital Belgrade. The film caused a strong resonance among local audiences, and Serbian audiences said that the historical truth transmitted by the film and the common memory of mankind are important.

The exhibition was held in a theater in the centre of Belgrade, where almost no seats were held, with representatives of the Serbian National Assembly, representatives of multi-national embassies and embassies, local people and about 200 members of the Serbian Chinese and Chinese-invested institutions.

Local audience Lazar Svrak:It¡¯s a very heavy movie, but we have to understand this history.I think the younger generation around the world should all begin to understand this history, know who is the fascist, who is the anti-fascist, who fights for the ultimate defeat of the evil forces in the world.To see this movie I cried many times, and I think the history of Serbian anti-fascism is the same.

Local audience Lanka Rajanovich:I think it¡¯s important to know the historical truth, no matter how heavy the movie is. Of course, it¡¯s hard to digest, and it¡¯s also hard to imagine how it was shot. But I think it¡¯s important in itself, anyway, since it¡¯s based on real events, to be able to get more people to understand these crimes, who when and how they were committed.

Local audience Pavle Maksimovic:The content of this film is really shocking, to be honest, some scenes have shed me tears, it has brought me a huge shock, until now my mind is filled with movie pictures, I can't calm down.
