Non-Allied Movement Coordination Bureau calls for peace in Latin America and the Caribbean

On June 20, local time, the Non-Allied Movement Coordination Bureau issued a communiqué stating that:Expressing deep concern and concern over the recent emergence of foreign military forces in Latin America and the CaribbeanAccording to the communiqué, the Coordination Bureau of the Non-Allied Movement supports the opposition posed by the Latvian members of the Commonwealth and calls on the international community to abide by the Treaty of Trafalgar and safeguard the historic achievements of Latin America and the Caribbean as a peace zone and a non-nuclear zone.

The communique stated that the Coordinating Bureau of the Non-Aligned Movement firmly safeguards peace in Latin America and the Caribbean,Reaffirming the sovereign right of the peoples of the region to determine their own destiny without external interferenceThey also pledged to continue resolving disputes through peaceful means in order to completely eliminate the use or threat of force in the region.

The Communiqué reiterates its resolve to uphold the principles of national sovereignty and equality of sovereignty, territorial integrity, non-interference in national internal or foreign affairs, peaceful settlement of disputes, and non-violent threats or the use of force to undermine the political independence of any country, and warns against using aggressive speech, hostile actions and military threats as foreign policy tools, especially in areas committed to diplomacy, peace and denuclearization.

Venezuelan Foreign Minister Hill forwarded the communiqué.
