Wang Yi said that the conflict has been delayed for two years, causing an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe, hitting the bottom line of human conscience, and that China is deeply concerned and deeply regretted. Israel is determined to advance the takeover of the Gaza City plan, airstrikes on the Hamas target in Qatar, while accelerating the destruction of the territory of the West Bank. These acts seriously violate the norms of international law, not only are not beneficial for building its own security, but also put the “two-state program” in danger, directly affecting the stability of the Middle East region.
Wang Yi pointed out that force cannot bring peace, and violence cannot bring security. Historical experience has repeatedly proved that security should be common, and no country can base its own security on the insecurity of other countries. Israel has the right to establish a state, and Palestine also has the right to establish a state. We cannot apply double standards in this regard. It has been nearly 80 years since the founding of Israel, and the Palestinian people still have nowhere to live. This situation is unsustainable. The lives of the Israeli people are as precious as those of the Arab people. There is no distinction between high and low. They are both worthy of respect and care. Violence against violence can only create and accumulate new hatred.
