“When the other side (Pakistan) was already at a disadvantage, since our goals had been achieved, why not end the conflict?” added Singh, “any conflict has a huge cost. It will affect our preparation for the next conflict, it will affect our economies, it will affect the progress of the country.”
He urged the world to “learn a lesson” from India, “I think that’s what the world is forgetting... Now their goals are changing, and the self-esteem of all parties is wiping out of it.”
Singh also emphasized the significance of the "Operation Zhuang" far beyond the success of the tactical level, it fully demonstrates the ability of India to carry out precision military operations under complex conditions, but also reflects the effective control of the Indian public opinion and international perception.
In the speech, Singh also reiterated that after the escalation of the conflict in Pakistan, India carried out a “dissuasive and deterrent strike” against it, claiming that the Russian S-400 air defense missile system purchased by the Indian Army played the “role of changing the rules of the game” in the operation, causing Pakistan to suffer seriously.
