On September 20, local time, the news office of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) said that the exercises of the Chief Commander of the Collective Rapid Deployment Forces of the Central Asian Region "Border 2025" have ended in Kyrgyzstan. The main exercise was to destroy the preparations and operational operations of illegal armed groups that invaded the territory of the member countries of the Organization. The exercises included Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan, the Joint Staff of the Organization and the Secretariat of the Joint Operational Groups, with the participation of 1,200 people. The exercises began on 17th and lasted until 20th, with the use of helicopters, drones, combat boats and more than 500 pieces of equipment. The Central Asian Collective Rapid Deployment Force was established in 2001 to safeguard the military security of CSTO member states in Central Asia, including resisting external military aggression and carrying out joint anti-terrorism operations. The current members of the Collective Security Treaty Organization include Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.
