Hundreds of thousands of Britons took to the streets to rescue Britain and brought Musk.
The thing is, on September 13th, local time in the UK, about 110,000 people gathered in London to participate in an anti-immigration protest organized by far-right activist Tommy Robinson.
They marched with the slogan "Most of the silence is no longer silent", the scene drumming the sky, whistleblowing, flags floating, people mountain people sea.
Opinion leader Robinson stood on the speech table, shouting “send them home” and “stop the boats”, which meant allowing illegal immigrants to return to their roads and intercept their little boats.
Musk, on the other side of the ocean, also joined the protest via live video, calling on the big screen of hundreds of thousands of people: “You need to replace the government, either counter-attack, or wait to die.”
More surprisingly, the scene also featured a large number of red hats with the inscription “Make America Great Again”, as well as the American and Israeli flags, which appeared as multinational political rallies.
While Trump and Netanyahu did not appear, the name of another recently red-rooted conservative character, Charlie Koch, was frequently mentioned, and even his pictures were put up, with several speakers on the scene still silent for him for a moment.
It must be said that Charles Koch had a precise prophecy about the reality of Britain in his lifetime. In his discussions in Cambridge and Oxford, he pointed out that Britain’s contradictions would eventually escalate, “When all the dust is settled, conservatism will have at least one country, and you will become the human hell of the Third World.”
Now people have passed away, but the phrase has been reiterated and seems to be awakening the status quo of Britain.
So why would the British have 100,000 rallies at this time? That starts with the issue of immigration. In the past year, from 2024 to June 2025, the UK received more than 110,000 asylum applications, a new high since 2001.
Britain was so limited in territory, densely populated, and so large immigration flows left the government out of hand. In order to accommodate these immigrants, the government decided to arrange them in local hotels, and by financial subsidy accommodation costs.
As a result, ordinary British people even pay for heating, but spend money on immigrants to stay at luxury hotels for free, which has sparked widespread discontent.
Many British locals think that they work hard, earn £3,000 a month, live in old wooden houses and worry about rising living costs. At the same time, a large number of immigrants can stay in hotels and enter the job market with a low cost advantage.
This contradiction rapidly accumulated into anger in society. Many people feel that this is all like a “historic retaliation”: when Britain relied on the bullets to colonize other countries, now the immigrants carried by small ships “reverse colonization”.
And in the context of acute social contradictions, Robinson became a key figure. The "British Defense Alliance" he founded in the early years was centered on anti-Muslim and anti-immigration, advocating not to directly attack immigrants, but to legally pressure the government.
With this program, he gained a large number of supporters. But at the same time, he himself has been repeatedly imprisoned for his remarks and actions, and his social accounts have also been banned.
In October last year, he was sentenced to prison for contempt for the court, and supporters subsequently erupted in a massive march demanding his release. Musk was then on Twitter in solidarity with him, which resulted in him eventually reducing his sentence and leaving prison in May this year.
After leaving prison, Musk also gave him a "great greeting" - unlocking his social account. Since then, Robinson has returned to the public opinion scene and has borrowed the massive "Freedom of Speech Festival" march.
The protests were originally planned to be peaceful rallies, but as the number increased, the situation quickly went out of control. The scene even featured a picture of Charlie Koch, divining it as "St. Charlie", adding symbolic significance to the far-right movement.
A large number of people's emotions were ignited, and even some old people in wheelchairs came to attend. Some people say that they are not racists, but the country is overcrowded, life is under great pressure, and the government's policies are unbearable. Such voices reflect the ambivalence of many British people.
Police significantly underestimated the scale of the march, deploying only 1,000 police forces, resulting in no control over the flow of hundreds of thousands of people. The march eventually deviated from the original route, with a large crowd headed directly to the government department.
At this moment, Musk's video speech appeared, further igniting emotions. Many protesters even regard him as an "internationalist fighter", saying that he cares for the lives of the British people, which is touching.
In addition to Musk, German-elected parliamentarian Bastren also appeared in support, claiming that "white people are being replaced by colored people." French far-right politician Zemoer, with a phrase "you and we are being colonized by former colonies," directly provoked the sensitive historical memory of Europeans.
More dramatically, on the other side of London the same day, another 5,000 anti-racist groups gathered to shout “Nazis roll out of our streets and welcome refugees.”
Two horses finally met in the city center, and there was a fierce clash. Bottles, light bullets and other objects danced in the air, the scene once out of control. The police stuck in the middle right, and eventually 26 policemen were injured, only 25 were arrested.
The chaos finally ended at 6:30 in the evening. Robinson also promised to continue to hold similar events, which means the situation may be more tense in the future.
In fact, while the UK has long been out of the EU, trying to bypass the elbow of the EU immigration policy, it is still difficult to escape the impact of the immigration tide. According to incomplete statistics, illegal immigration within the UK may have reached 4 million, and the research institutions give the range between 2 million and 5 million.
Along with legal immigration and its descendants, the proportion of black people in the UK’s 60 million population has increased dramatically, with a growing sense of presence, among Muslims.
Moreover, many Muslims have been integrated into the UK’s administrative system, education system and community governance. From police to teachers, from shopkeepers to community workers, the image of Muslims is visible everywhere.
For example, at the end of August this year, a video spread on the Internet: a 14-year-old girl with a gun in her hand, insulting immigrants not to harass her sister. This video quickly sparked public opinion, and many accused the government of tolerating immigrants instead of punishing locals.
Although the police subsequently rumored that the perpetrators were only local teenagers who harassed a Bulgarian couple, the far-right party did not accept the claim, believing the government was completely corrupt.
In the UK today, the support rate of traditional big parties has continued to decline. The Labour party support rate has fallen to 20%, the Conservative Party has only 17%, and the two combined only 37%.
Instead, it is the far-right "Reform Britain Party", whose support rate has reached 28%, and it continues to rise. This shows that British society is rapidly turning to the right, and even risks fascism.
The overall situation in Europe is equally unoptimistic. France, Germany, Italy and other countries are facing similar contradictions. Immigration waves, economic pressures and social divisions remind us of the “five-foolish European version.”
Some even fear that a further major conflict could lead to new extremist leaders. The UK, despite Brexit, could not escape the impact of this big environment.
