According to the Russian newspaper website on September 19, Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov said in the "Great Game" program of the country's first channel television that Moscow is willing to seek compromises on the solution of the Ukrainian crisis, taking into account Russian interests.
According to the report, he pointed out that, as President Putin has emphasized many times, Russia knows that any solid agreement is a compromise and takes this as a starting point. At the same time, he made it clear that the premise of Moscow's willingness to seek compromise is that the legitimate rights and interests of the state in the field of security and the rights of the Russian-speaking population in Ukraine must be guaranteed, and the interests of all other participants in the future agreement must be guaranteed to an equal extent.
Lavrov said that the current U.S. government understands NATO's current problems and has openly talked about them. Washington also admitted that it was necessary to consider the referendum results in Crimea and Russia's "new regions", and consider the above practical factors in its work.
