NBC Bay Area reporter Dalton Johnson and Monte Poole recently talked about the status quo of the Warriors in a podcast.

Dalton Johnson said that Butler had contacted the team management on the situation of the Warriors break, and that the negotiations between Warriors and Kumiga are still stuck at the moment.

Monte Poole said: "Stephen believes in the management. He usually agrees with the way the team operates and thinks it can be successful. But at some point, maybe he needs to stand up and say, 'Guys, please, I know this is all about maximizing my peak window, but our operation is of no benefit to the team this summer.'"
