According to the British "Independent" and the Israeli "Jerusalem Post" on the 18th, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu released a video speech on the same day, publicly denying Israel's association with the assassination of U.S. conservative Charlie Kirk, calling relevant reports and statements on social media "big lies".

Kirk is the co-founder of the conservative U.S. non-profit ¡°America¡¯s Turnpoint¡± and one of the most influential ¡°networkers¡± in the Trump supporters camp of the U.S. President. On September 10, Kirk was shot dead during a University Speech in Utah. Police said the suspect, Taylor Robinson, was subsequently arrested and charged with murder.

Since the incident, U.S. political camps have blamed each other, and there have been numerous unconfirmed allegations, including allegations that the culprit behind the assassination of Kirk was the Israeli intelligence agency Mossad, ¡°supporters of the MAGA movement and members of the far-right Christian white supremacist group.¡±

In a video speech on September 18 local time, Netanyahu said: ¡°There has been a massive lie that Israel has been linked to the tragic murder of Charlie Kork, which is crazy, false and blatant,¡± he also called Kork ¡°a giant, a genius of a hundred years,¡± long supporting Israel and speaking in defense of ¡°our common Jewish-Christian civilization.¡±

According to Netanyahu, Kirk wrote in the letter that he loved Israel and the Jewish people and encouraged the Israeli prime minister to explain directly to the American people the importance of Israel for U.S. national security.

Earlier, some American media and commentators said that Kirk's private criticism of the Israeli government was more severe than he publicly admitted. Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson broke the news that Kirk "doesn't like Netanyahu", believes the Israeli prime minister is a "destructive force" and is "shocked" by the situation in Gaza.

At present, the investigation into Kirk's murder is still ongoing, and the US law enforcement department has not yet announced the motive of the murderer.
