SANA NEWS: Yemen's Houthi armed forces announced on the evening of 18 that their armed forces used a ballistic missile and several drones on the same day to strike multiple targets within Israel.
Houthi armed spokeswoman Yehaya Saleh said in a statement via the organization-controlled Masila TV channel that the organization used a “Palestine-2” high-speed ballistic missile to strike a “sensitive military target” in Tel Aviv, using three drones to strike multiple targets in Eilat, and using a drone to strike a “sensitive target” in Belize.
Saraya said the operations were a response to Israel’s escalation of military operations in the Gaza Strip and to the “aggression” in Yemen, “all successfully achieving the planned goals,” and stressed that the Eilat region will continue to be in the range of Hussein-armed strikes.
The Israeli Defence Forces issued a statement on Tuesday saying that the air force intercepted a missile launched by Yemen's Houthi armed forces that night.
Since Israel resumed its military operations on the Gaza Strip on March 18, the Houthi armed forces have fired at least 87 ballistic missiles and 40 drones on Israel, according to Israeli media.
