According to the British media on September 18, the U.S. official said that a ruining body found in a car under the name of singer D4vd has been confirmed as a missing 15-year-old girl.
According to police reports, on September 8, after receiving reports of a bad smell at the Hollywood trailer in Los Angeles, police rushed to the scene and found the remains of Celeste Rivas in the reservoir of a seized Tesla car. The official said that both the cause and the time of his death were unclear.
Rivas was from Lake Elsinore, California, who disappeared at the age of 13 and last appeared on April 5, 2024.
Police had previously said that the Tesla was probably parked "for several days" in the Hollywood trailer before the remains were found, the car hanging a Texas sign, was dragged here after being abandoned in the Hollywood Mountains five days ago.
The car was registered under the name of 20-year-old singer David Anthony Burke (which is the real name of singer D4vd). Last week, the Los Angeles County forensic said the remains were found 5 feet 2 inches (257 cm) tall, with black curls, when they were wearing a rubber jacket and black tight pants. The forensic also added that the remains had a tattoo on the finger of the right hand and wrote: "Lie."
According to media citing law enforcement sources, the remains were incomplete and the girl appeared to have been dead for a long time.
With millions of followers on social media, D4vd is well-known for his popular songs Here With Me and Romantic Homicide.
In April, he released his first album, where he was touring when the remains were found inside the Tesla car. The tour scheduled for Wednesday in Seattle has also been cancelled. Police said D4vd is cooperating with the investigation.
