Who were William and Harry's young cousins at the funeral of Duchess of Kent?
On September 16th, the funeral of the Duchess of Kent was solemnly held. At the ceremony, her three grandchildren, Eloise Taylor, Lady Marina Windsor and Albert Windsor, were responsible for reading the eulogy. They are distant cousins of Prince William and Prince Harry. William, Prince of Wales, attended the funeral, but Harry, Duke of Sussex, did not show up. Many of the Duchess's grandchildren also came to see him off, including Columbus Taylor, Lady Amelia Windsor, Leopold Windsor, Louis Windsor, Cassius Taylor, Estella Taylor, Maud Windsor, Isabella Windsor and Edward Windsor (Lord Downpatrick).
In public memory, they are relatively unfamiliar faces in the royal family, but in this solemn farewell ceremony, they represent the younger generation of the family, taking on an important role. Despite being members of the royal family, the grandchildren of the late Duchess of Kent rarely performed royal duties on a daily basis and rarely appeared in public light. Some of them inherited their grandmother's artistic talents and have been leading in the fields of art, fashion and modeling.

Eloise Taylor was born on March 2, 2003, the eldest daughter of Mrs. Helen Taylor and her husband, Timothy Taylor. She had two older brothers, Columbus and Cassius, and a sister, Estella. Currently, Eloise is the 51st in line to the British throne. At her grandmother's funeral service, she read the Prayer of the Faithful with her cousin Lady Marina Windsor and her cousin Albert Windsor.

Eloise rarely makes public appearances on weekdays. Earlier this year, she appeared at Wimbledon Tennis Championship with her mother and Kate, Princess of Wales, to help out Princess Kate's appearance. She made a few public debuts, most of them related to major royal celebrations, such as the Royal Army parade ceremony. In an old photo in 2011, when she was only 8 years old, she stood on the balcony of Buckingham Palace with Princess Kate, smiling brightly.
Albert Windsor
Albert Wintour, born on 22 September 2007, is the eldest son of the Lord Nicholas Wintour couple. He has two brothers, Leopold Wintour, who was born in 2009, and Louis Wintour, who was born in 2014. Though there has been an outward claim that he is the 45th successor to the throne, he has automatically lost his right to the throne because he accepted the Catholic baptism and grew up in this faith. His father has also withdrawn from the succession because of his conversion to Catholicism.

Albert's baptism set a historical precedent for the royal family at that time. He was the first member of the royal family to be baptized in a Catholic ceremony since King James II in 1688. Like his cousin Eloise, Albert also occasionally appeared at royal family gatherings, such as the Royal Army parade ceremony. In 2019, when he was only 11 years old, Albert attended the event with other members of the royal family, he caught media attention with his arm hanging.
