On September 17th, local time, US President Trump announced on his social account that he would officially define Antifa, a "ultra-left" organization in the United States, as a "terrorist organization" and call it a "pathological and dangerous ultra-left disaster".

Trump also said the sources of funding associated with the organization would be thoroughly investigated.

Public data suggests that this is not the first time Trump has announced that he will classify Antifa as a ¡°terrorist organization.¡±

But CNN reports that Antifa does not have a clear organizational structure, but rather a group of people who identify with one or more radical ideologies, gathered together to initiate a social movement.
