Tens of thousands of protesters marched in the centre of London on the afternoon of 17 September for dissatisfaction with a number of U.S. policies, protesting U.S. President Trump, who is on a state visit to the UK. That day, Trump met with King Charles III of England at Windsor Castle.

Demonstrators hand-held badges criticizing U.S. policies in areas such as immigration, Gaza and climate change. Accompanied by bells and drums, demonstrators marched from Portland Street to Parliament Square. Reporters saw on the scene that the protesters covered various age groups, police deployed a large number of police forces to maintain order and implemented temporary traffic controls on major roads.

The London Police Department estimated that about 5,000 people took part in the demonstration * that day. Philip Threfall, a native of Hertfordshire, England, protested against the tariff policy of the United States, saying that the tariff war initiated by the United States was a "disaster" for the United States and the whole world.

The parade was organized by a group called ¡°Stop the Trump Alliance,¡± which began a gathering of hundreds around Windsor Castle on 16 November to protest Trump¡¯s visit to the UK.

This is the second time Trump has been invited to make a state visit to Britain as U.S. President. He has made a state visit to Britain in 2019 during his first term as president. The Buckingham Palace said Trump will meet with Prime Minister Stammer on the 18th.
