Yesterday, the 2025 World Congress of the International Association of Science and Technology Parks and Innovation Regions officially opened at the National Convention Center in Beijing, attracting about 800 participants, including representatives of science and technology parks, experts and scholars from 97 countries and regions.

At the opening ceremony, the Beijing Municipal Committee of Sciences and Technologies and the Guangdong Municipal Governance Committee on the spot released the "IASP2025 Beijing Guangdong International Technology Park Innovation Cooperation Initiative", proposed the construction of "innovative parks, green parks, smart parks, humanitarian parks, open parks", calls on global scientific and technological parks to jointly build a synergistic innovation network, promote the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, cultivate high-level innovative talents, and promote the green and sustainable development of scientific and technological parks.

Zhao Hyun, dean of the Institute for Innovative Development of Zhuang Village:The "Zhongguancun Initiative" is to guide the world's science and technology parks to create a better innovation environment and a more perfect innovation ecology, gather more talents to innovate and develop in the parks, release the kinetic energy of science and technology parks, transform science and technology into new productive forces, and drive the high-quality development of countries and regions where they are located.
