According to the Saudi News Agency, a joint statement issued on the same day said that the agreement reflected the common commitment of the two countries to strengthen their own security and achieve regional and world security and peace, aiming at developing defense cooperation between the two countries and strengthening joint deterrence against any aggression.
The agreement states that any attack on Saudi Arabia or Pakistan is an attack on both countries.
