At 11 o'clock on the morning of June 13th, 2008, an explosion occurred at Anxin Coal Co., Ltd., Xiabao Town, Xiaoyi City, Shanxi Province, and 43 people were trapped underground. At that time, the mine had complete six certificates and had passed the acceptance of resumption of production in 2008. After the accident, Luliang Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, Xiaoyi Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government immediately organized emergency rescue and found out that the accident was mainly the explosion of explosives at the bottom of the well. At that time, 58 people entered the well in a single shift. After the explosion, 15 people got out of the well safely.
