The Treaty on the Prevention of Nuclear Weapons Proliferation was signed on July 1, 1968 (June 6, 1968) after the United States, the Soviet Union and the United Kingdom signed the Treaty on the Partial Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons Tests, and the United States and the Soviet Union continued to trade on the nuclear issue. On July 1, 1968, the Soviet Union, the United States and the United Kingdom signed the Treaty on the Prevention of Nuclear Weapons Proliferation in Moscow, Washington and London.
