Picture: Accident scene At about 2:34 on June 29, 2009, a K9017 (Changsha to Shenzhen) bus collided with a K9063 (Tongren to Shenzhen West) bus at Chenzhou Railway Station in Hunan Province, resulting in 3 deaths and more than 60 injuries. At 2: 30 on June 29th, Chenzhou Railway Station is located in the center of Chenzhou City. The K9017 train sped by like a runaway horse. Before the station staff on the platform came to their senses, there was a loud bang, and the K9017 train had crashed into the K9063 train that had just started to leave the station. This rare conflict accident inside the railway station caused 3 deaths and 63 injuries, including 6 serious injuries. The reporter learned from the Ministry of Railways that the investigation work of the "6.29" Chenzhou Railway Traffic Accident Investigation Team has ended, and the direct cause of this accident has been found out: this is a liability accident caused by the operator's violation of the operating regulations when installing the brake hose during the manufacturing process of the second vehicle of K9017 train, leaving the dustproof bottom cover in the corner plug door, blocking the main brake air duct, and suddenly losing the braking force of the train. According to the person in charge of the accident investigation team, the K9017 train consists of 18 vehicles, all of which are 25G passenger cars. They are newly built vehicles of Nanjing Puzhen Rolling Stock Co., Ltd. of China South Locomotive & Rolling Stock Co., Ltd. and are assigned to the Changsha Depot of Guangzhou Railway (Group) Company. It was put into use on June 24. When the second vehicle of this train was produced by Nanjing Puzhen Vehicle Co., Ltd., Feng Long, an employee at the sixth station of the third work area of the bus workshop, installed the brake hose, violating the operating regulations and connecting the brake hose to the corner plug door without confirming whether all the dust plugs of the corner plug door were taken out, resulting in the bottom cover of the dust plug being left in the corner plug door in a free state. On June 29th, the train ran to Chenzhou Station of Beijing-Guangzhou Railway. When the driver decelerated and braked before entering the station, the wind pressure of the brake pipe adsorbed the dustproof bottom cover to the end of the hose joint, causing the main air duct of the brake pipe to be blocked, and the braking force of the second to eighteenth vehicles of the train suddenly lost, resulting in the accident. Feng Long, the person directly responsible for the accident, has been handed over to judicial organs for handling on suspicion of committing a crime. The accident investigation team also put forward accountability opinions for 14 people, including the main leaders, leaders in charge and other relevant responsible persons of Nanjing Puzhen Vehicle Co., Ltd.
