The following year, Fan Zhongyan wrote "The Story of Yueyang Tower", which had the phrase "Worry about the world first, and be happy after the world", so Yueyang Tower became famous all over the world. Since then, Yueyang Tower has been built several times, and the present Yueyang Tower was built in 1880 (the sixth year of Guangxu). For more than one hundred years, Yueyang Tower lacked scientific maintenance and repair, and it has been worried about collapsing. The state is extremely cautious about overhauling Yueyang Tower. Since 1975, the cultural relics department has organized experts in cultural relics and ancient buildings to conduct repeated inspections and studies on Yueyang Tower, and drew the restoration construction drawings of Yueyang Tower. Now, special wood, glazed tiles, Chinese lacquer, granite, etc. are all ready, and component making, door and window carving and other work have started.
