Japan's self-government party announces presidential election schedule

The presidential election of the ruling Liberal Democratic Party of Japan will be held in early next month, and the presidential election management committee will announce the election schedule on 17th to make detailed arrangements for the candidates to hold press conferences, policy discussions and local speeches.

After the resignation of Japan's Prime Minister and Chairman of the Japanese People's Party, Shikoku Shikoku, the People's Party announced that it would issue an announcement on the party's presidential election on September 22, and the vote will be counted on October 4.

The party's presidential election management committee met at the party headquarters on the 17th and agreed on the schedule of the election. According to this arrangement, the committee will accept the candidate's registration from 10 a.m. on the 22nd, and from 13 a.m. each candidate will deliver a political speech accordingly.

On the morning of the 23rd, all candidates will hold a joint press conference at the Democratic Party headquarters, and in the afternoon will attend an open discussion hosted by the Democratic Youth Bureau and the Women's Bureau. On the 24th, each candidate will attend a discussion hosted by the Japanese Reporter Club. In addition, the candidates will hold local conferences in Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka, and will participate in a network policy discussion on the 30th.

According to Japanese media, the competition pattern of five people at the current stage has been basically determined, respectively, the former director of the self-government party, Momoi敏充, the current cabinet chief of office, Lin Feng Jing, the Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Aquaculture, Xiao Jing, and the former Minister of Economic Security in charge of the High City, Early Momoi and Little Lin Eagle.

The five participated in the self-government party president elections last September, and ultimately defeated石破茂.In the opposition camp, therefore, they mocked the new self-government party president elections as "the resurrection of the losers a year ago."
