Today, 96 years ago, on July 7, 1929 (Lunar Calendar, June 1, 1929), the first flight between the eastern coast of the United States was operated. While the aircraft was crowded, the service was careful until July 7, 1929, when American Airlines began its transnational shipping business. The company claimed to be the first airline that specialized in transporting passengers without mail. Two days and two nights were almost continuous travel. The airline transported passengers from Penn Station in New York to Glendale Airport in the outskirts of Los Angeles. Unremitting passengers were flying on the aircraft during the day and sleeping in the train at night. The meals on the plane were not as good as on the train.
