On February 28, 1931, the people of Hu were captured by Chiang Kai-shek.
On the 28th of February 1931, after a fierce dispute with Chiang Kai-shek, the National Party senator Ho Han-min was put under pressure. On the following day, Hu was forced to resign from the main positions of the National Government committee, the head of the Constitutional Court and others, and was interned by Chiang Kai-shek. On the 28th of February 1931, during the Fourth Plenary Session of the National Party in November 1930, Chiang Kai-shek passed the Treaty Law, set up the president, placed the chairman of the five chambers under the president, and was resolutely opposed by Hu. After the meeting, the two continued to argue around the formulation of the law of treaty and launched the struggle to win the seat of the National Assembly.
