by Sawyer Shima Shima (1867-1916) is a modern Japanese writer, born on February 9, 1867 (three years old) in Tokyo. In 1890, Shima Shima entered the English Department of the Imperial University of Tokyo University of Literature and Literature and graduated from the university in 1893, he successfully entered Tokyo under the recommendation of the head of school and taught for two years in the UK before 1900. Returned to Japan in 1903, he was a professor of English at the First High School and a lecturer in English literature at the University of Tokyo, and often wrote acronyms and manuscripts for the Duo magazine. In 1905, when he was 38 years old, he published a short novel in the (Duo) magazine, "I am a cat", which was widely recognised and repeatedly published at the request of the reader. The inspiredby Sawyer thus gained the power of creation, and the following decade was the peak of his creation. In 1907, he resigned from his faculty, engaged in professional creation, and wrote a series of novels for the Korean News. A long novel about love and heritage began to be published, followed by the successive publication of the three pieces of the Three Four, the After, and the Door. The door soon caught up with the impact of major events on the cultural world, his work turned from critical objective reality to the subjective world. The representative work had three pieces of the Spring Festival, the Walker, the Heart. His last work in his life was the autobiography of the novel "Dog" and the unfinished "Mighty". In 1911, he refused to accept the doctorate awarded by the government and died of stomach ulcers in 1916. His brain and stomach were donated to the Imperial School of Medicine in Tokyo after his death. In 1984, his head image was printed on the 1,000 yen banknote.
