On March 17, 1775 (February 16, 1775), the American Continental Army led by George Washington forced the British to withdraw from Washington. On June 16, 1775, 3,000 Massachusetts militias occupied the northern high point of Boston, Banks Mountain. The next day, the British army sent more than 2,000 people to compete for the high point. On May 10, 1775, the militias held the Second Continental Conference in Philadelphia, with fewer ammunition, and three times defeated the British army, showing an astonishing struggle, and finally for the use of ammunition to withdraw from the high ground, but the British were injured by half and lost badly.
