Ovid (March 20, 43 BC - March 18, 18 BC) was an ancient Roman poet. Born in Sulmo near Rome, he was born in Tomi on the Black Sea. As a young man, he studied rhetoric in Rome and was interested in poetry. He was married three times, and his third wife came from the famous gate, giving him the opportunity to enter the upper society and engage with royal poets. In 1 AD he published The Art of Love, describing the techniques of love, teaching the arts of seduction and private communication, conflicting with the moral reform policies promoted by Augustus. In 8 AD he was expelled to Tomi. The poet’s life was rich in creation. Early poems were mostly lamentary poems reflecting life and love. Like the first collection of poems, The Song of Love. The Transfiguration, completed in the 7th century AD, represented the highest level of the author. The book was written in six-tone lines, with a total of 15 volumes, including about 250 mythical stories. The whole book was written in chronicle form, from creation to Caesar’s death, Augustus succeeded. The first part (the first volume) tells the founding of the universe and the four eras of gold, silver, bronze, black iron. The second part (the second to the eleventh volume) is mythical heroes stories. The third part (the twelfth to fifth volume) is a history story.
