The birth of the early European Renaissance painter Sandra Botticelli

Sandro Botticelli (1 March 1445 – 17 May 1510), the last famous painter of Florence during the early Renaissance, was born in a middle-class family in Florence, originally named Aristotle Phillippe, but his nickname was Botticelli, meaning "Little Barrel". Teacher studied painting from the painting room of Philip Libby, then taught painting from Verocchio, with a seven-year-old fellow named Leonardo da Vinci. In 1470, he set up his own home, opened a personal painting studio, and was soon recognized by the family of Médici, ordering him a large number of paintings. In 1492 there was a major political change in Florence, Lorenzo died, the Medici family was expelled, and the religious extremist Savonarola took power. Botticelli was also one of his followers, and burned many of his paintings in the notorious "Fire of vanity". Per this is why the latter half of Botticelli's reputation declined, and the late years of poverty fell, only by day-to-day relief. In the last years of his life, he did not ask for the world, and was lonely. In 1510, Botticelli died in poverty and loneliness, and was buried in the "All Saints" church cemetery in Florence.
