The process

On July 26, 1794, Robespierre delivered a speech at the National Assembly, saying that "there are still unclear members of the National Assembly," but the lawmakers asked Robespierre to say the names of the lawmakers, and Robespierre did not say, causing the parliamentarians to panic, and everyone was at risk. Since Danton and others had already been rectified in the past, it triggered the parliamentarians to initiate a coup. That evening Robespierre spoke at the Jacobin Club, stating, "You hear my speech today, I am afraid it is my testament," and did not think of a word.

On July 27, 1794, Robespierre went to the National Council, and the speech was interrupted by the Speaker; there began to be a voice of "destroying the tyrant" and the request to arrest Robespierre and others, and the National Council declared Robespierre "unprotected by law" and arrested, while his younger brother Robespierre, Saint-Just, G. Counton and others were arrested. They were once rescued by the commander of the National Self-Defense Army F. Henri, and finally Robespierre fled to the Paris City Hall, and was preparing to shoot himself, a national guard teenage soldier shot to break the buttocks of Robespierre and arrested him.

On July 28, 1794, twenty-two people, including Robespierre and St. Guggenheim, were sent to the headquarters, and at the moment Robespierre was captured, the crowd watched for 15 minutes of applause of joy.

It is said that after the death of Robespierre, the humorous Frenchman engraved on his tomb a sentence such as: "O past pedestrian, I Robespierre slept here, please do not grieve for me, if I was alive, then you would not live."

Results

The hot moon coup overthrew the Jacobin rule and declared the end of the civil revolution in the French Revolution. The regime represented by the hot moon party was established in the coup. The history of France entered the period of upholding the achievements of the revolution.
