Soviet Turkish linguist Malov.

Malov, a Soviet Turkish linguist, was born in Kazan on January 16, 1880 and died on September 6, 1957.
In 1904, Malov joined the Eastern Faculty of the University of St. Petersburg. During the university period, he participated in the activities of the Russian Academy of Sciences’ Turkish language research group led by the Russian Turkish scholar B.B. Radlov, and became interested in the ancient Turkish and the rarely known Chinese Xinjiang Uighur and Gansu Yuan language. In 1909-1911 he was sent by the Russian Central Asian Research Committee to Xinjiang, Gansu and China to study Uighur and Yuan Yuan.
From 1913 to 1915 he went to northwest China for a second time for language research; in 1916 he obtained a master's degree in Turkish literature; in 1917 he began teaching Turkish in higher schools in Kazan, Leningrad, Tashkent and other places; in 1934 he worked at the Language Institute of the Soviet Academy of Sciences; and in 1939 he was elected to the Communication Academy of the Soviet Academy of Sciences.
During his lifetime, Malov has published more than 150 papers and made an important contribution to the study of ancient Turkish and Turkic languages. In 1928, he published Radlov's Ancient Literature to Return to the Turkic language. He corrected many of Radlov's errors in language and commentary. Malov's representatives include the Ancient Turkic Literature, the Yenyse Turkic Literature, the Uighur (Hammi Dialogues), the Robo-Papanic, the Turkic Dictionary and Grammar, the Turkic Literature of Mongolia and Kyrgyzstan, the Xinjiang Uighur Dialogues, the Turkic (long records and Russian translations) and so on.
In addition, Malov actively participated in the creation and reform of the Turkish national languages of the Soviet Union and made a significant contribution to the training of the new generation of Turkish experts in the Soviet Union.
