Early a month after the ¡°Aqsa flood¡± attack, Israeli security department leader Runan Barr said directly that Israel would destroy Hamas¡¯ senior leaders, including those far away in Qatar and Turkey, which would take years, but Israel would appear there.

The Israeli strike was part of the complete destruction of Hamas and a direct response to Hamas¡¯ delay in releasing hostages. Of course, the US-approved operation has also warned Qatar of long-term funding of Hamas. Though there are differences within Israel about the operation, there is no doubt that Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu¡¯s harsh policy against Hamas and Gaza is still supported by most Israeli Jews. After thousands of people were killed and more than two hundred were held hostage in the ¡°Aqsa Flood¡± attack that brought them back to Gaza, Israel¡¯s Jews are increasingly less confident that Palestinians can coexist peacefully.

To destroy Hamas entirely.

For more than a year, Qatar has coordinated an Israeli-Hamas ceasefire or hostage-release agreement, but it has not achieved the ideal result. In fact, Qatar¡¯s long-standing image in Israel has been quite negative and several factors have led to this outcome, such as the reporting of the Qatar Peninsula TV on the Israeli conflict, such as Doha¡¯s long-standing strong support for Hamas and good relations with Iran. Israeli policymakers such as Netanyahu have increasingly believed that killing the remaining Hamas leaders is more effective than solving the problem through diplomatic means.

As the assassination of overseas Hamas leaders has become an established policy, action is only a matter of time and time for Israel. Recent Israeli military operations on Gaza City have markedly escalated, the situation in Gaza is becoming more critical; the calls for hostages to be taken back inside Israel are stronger; negotiations with Hamas have come to a point again. At such a critical time, on September 8, the violent attacks in Jerusalem that killed six Jews were clearly a catalyst for Israel¡¯s escalation of attacks on Hamas.

Hamas, including Khalid Marshall, Khalil Khaya, Zahar Jabarin, Khalid Marshall and Nizar Awadala in Doha, gathered together to discuss negotiations with Israel. Israel is aware of the contents of their meeting, but is still carrying out ¡°precise strikes¡± to try to ¡°unite¡± it, which proves that the Israeli side has no longer believed that negotiations with Hamas can solve the problem, but continues to seek to completely destroy Hamas.

After the attack, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu said on social media that there was a time when Jews could be murdered without punishment, but that those days have ended since the establishment of the State of Israel.

However, given the special relationship between Israel and the United States and Qatar¡¯s one of the largest U.S. military bases overseas, the Netanyahu administration could not take action without U.S. approval. The White House press secretary confirmed that Israel had told Washington before the attack, ¡°Al bombing Qatar was bad, it was necessary.¡±

Increased uncertainty in countries

Looking around the world, there are currently few international forces that can restrict Israel¡¯s external behavior. Although the United States has this capability, it is unfortunate that the United States is not currently strongly restricting Israel. And, the United States is still falling to the ground in the way its international reputation is damaged. And, it is worth noting, from Israel to Qatar, between Jordan and Saudi Arabia two Arab countries, that is, when Israeli airstrikes as the capital of Qatar as an Arab member state, are necessary to pass through the airspace of these two Arab countries.

But even though Israel has hundreds of reasons, even though there is a U.S. standpoint, even though relations between countries in the Middle East are complicated, after all, Qatar is a sovereign state, so Israel's armed attacks on its capital, clearly Israel's again naked violation of international law and UN norms, has been almost unanimously condemned by the international community, and even U.S. President Trump has strongly condemned Israel's attack on Qatar's land.

In fact, when Israel launched a massive attack on Iran on June 13, this sense of insecurity in the region was already manifested, and the ¡°who is next¡± target was once again discussed. Israel, while making other countries in the region feel insecure, also thought about its own security issues, after all, the strong support of the United States will not always be absolute; and, when a group of nations in a region feels insecure, it is difficult to say that such countries will not take any collective action.

At the moment, it seems that Israel¡¯s action has not achieved the expected results, but its plan to ¡°unify¡± Hamas at Doha has not succeeded.But according to Israel¡¯s actions over the past few decades, its pursuit of Hamas will not stop. Even if Israel can ultimately this goal, if it can¡¯t face the fate of millions of Palestinians, it is inevitable that the Palestinians under strong oppression will take a fierce resistance.In the end, solving the Palestinian issue through diplomacy rather than military means is a guarantee for Israel to embark on the path of peace.
