Today, 58 years ago, on March 16, 1967 (February 6, 1967), the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) announced the demands for the protection of state property and the saving revolution.On March 16, 1967, the Central Committee issued the "Notice on the Protection of State Property and the Saving Revolution".Notice stipulated: (1) We must raise vigilance, educate and unite the masses against all acts that destroy state assets; (2) We must not allow private divisions to produce property, and we must not destroy agricultural tools and machinery; (3) We must eliminate all unnecessary expenditure; (4) We must strengthen the protection of documents and books; (5) We must give education and punishment against the theft and destruction of state funds.
