Today, 34 years ago, on August 12, 1991 (Lunar Calendar, July 3, 1991) the mainland Chinese journalist was interviewed for the first time in Taiwan. The anti-Communist fire of the Taiwan authorities that first interviewed the Taiwanese journalist appeared to be extinguished, and the period of mobilization for more than 40 years has ended, while the President-General of the Chinese Red Cross visited Taiwan to interview 18 mainland fishermen, the Chinese news agency journalist Fang Qing and the Chinese news agency journalist Guo Wei Feng became the mainland's first journalist on the island.
