On December 6, 1905, Amonson discovered the magnetic pole of the Earth.
Today, 120 years ago, on December 6, 1905 (Lunar Calendar, November 10, 1905), the explorer Amonson explored the magnetic poles of the Earth. On December 6, 1905, Norwegian explorer Rold Amonson, who sailed for three years along the Arctic coast of the Americas known as the "Northwestern Canal", from the Atlantic to the Pacific Ocean, made an adventurous voyage. Amonson and his partner were on a 47-ton single-ship "Jia-Ship." Many thought the ship was too small and inevitable to happen. They left Norway on June 1, 1903. As a result, the ship was frozen for two years. During his expedition, Amonson explored the magnetic poles on King William Island and discovered that the British explorer John-Rose had moved this magnetic pole position about 60 years ago.
