Princess Ekaterina (April 21, 1729 ¨C November 6, 1796), Russian queen (April 21, 1728 ¨C March 13, 1796). Her original name was Sophia Frederick Augustus. In Russian history, the queen Ekaterina was named Ekaterina and Peter the Great, formerly the daughter of the Duke of Germany, and in 1745 married to the Russian emperor Peter the Third. In 1762 she took part in a court coup and took the Emperor's seat. She fought two times with Turkey abroad, participated in the division of Poland, joined Crimea and joined Russia, broke the Black Sea outlet. She established the Russian Empire's outstanding post-
