Today, 83 years ago, on May 4th, 1942 (March 20th, 1942, Calendar), the U.S. Navy fought the Battle of the Coral Sea. The Battle of the Coral Sea was the first confrontation of the U.S. aircraft carrier in the Pacific, the two sides carried out long-range attacks, never using artillery to shoot each other. On May 4th, 1942, the U.S. Navy aircraft carrier teamed up to the southern sea of the island of Tuareg, to destroy the Japanese Navy. The U.S. Navy launched an attack on the Japanese landing fleet and direct coverage, i.e. when the Japanese light aircraft carrier and submarine were sunk. On the 7th, the Japanese Navy was defeated in the Southern Coral
