Today, 75 years ago, on June 26, 1950 (Calendar 12 May 1950), the Day of South African Freedom, the Government of the National Party of South Africa issued decrees such as the Population Registration Law, the Group Residence Law, and the Communist Regulations and attacked the demonstration masses protesting the politics of apartheid on the "Five-Year-Old" Day.
