by Alexander Bell. Alexander Graham Bell was born on 3 March 1847 in Edinburgh, Scotland, and received primary education there. In 1870 he immigrated to Canada, and a year later to the United States. In 1882 he joined American citizenship. Bell himself was a vocal student scientist and a teacher of deaf language. Before him, the German Philip Rice had invented a telephone machine, but its sound effects were extremely poor and could not actually be used. On 10 March 1876, Bell and his colleagues tested the world's first available telephone machine. In addition, Bell also invented a hearing measurement instrument, an instrument that could be used to detect metal in the human body and some other inventions. Bell owns a patent for the invention of the phone, but it has also been noted that Antonio Meucci, who immigrated from Italy to the United States, was the inventor of the phone. U.S. Congress Resolution No. 269 of June 15, 2002 confirmed Antonio Meucci as the inventor of the phone. In addition, he also made hearing aids; improved the speaker invented by Edison; he contributed greatly to the invention of deaf speech; he wrote more than 100 articles and brochures. In 1881, he designed a metal test device to discover the bullets in the body of U.S. President James Garfield, becoming the predecessor of the X-ray machine.
